Senior DevOps Engineer

About the Role

We’re looking for a seasoned Senior DevOps Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure across multiple cloud platforms (AWS preferred). You’ll own our Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform) workflows, CI/CD pipelines in github, container orchestration, and integrations into cloud marketplaces.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cloud Infrastructure: Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure AWS (and multi-cloud) architectures using best practices for networking, security, and cost optimization
  • Infrastructure as Code: Develop, review, and enhance Terraform modules and CI workflows; enforce IaC best practices and module reuse
  • CI/CD Pipelines: Build and manage automated build, test, and deployment pipelines (e.g., Jest, Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline) to enable rapid, reliable releases
  • Containerization & Orchestration: Containerize applications with Docker and manage Kubernetes clusters (EKS/GKE/AKS) for production and development workloads
  • Monitoring & Alerting: Implement observability solutions (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK) to ensure service reliability and performance.
  • Security & Compliance: Embed security controls and compliance checks into pipelines and infrastructure; collaborate with InfoSec to remediate vulnerabilities. Familiarity with Keycloak token management and Infisicial secrets management preferred.
  • Cloud Marketplace Integration: Package, publish, and maintain offerings on AWS Marketplace (and/or Google Cloud Marketplace/Azure Marketplace) to streamline customer procurement and deployment
  • Collaboration & Documentation: Partner with engineering teams on architecture reviews, troubleshoot production incidents, and document standards, runbooks, and playbooks.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field
  • 5+ years in DevOps or Cloud Engineering roles
  • 3+ years hands-on with AWS core services (EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM)
  • Proven Terraform experience (1+ year in production)
  • Strong Docker and Kubernetes (EKS/GKE/AKS) expertise
  • Solid scripting skills (Python, Bash, Powershell, etc.)
  • Demonstrated ability designing and operating CI/CD pipelines
  • Deep understanding of cloud networking, security, and compliance
  • Ability to work cross platform OS

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with other clouds (Azure, GCP)
  • Familiarity with additional IaC tools (CloudFormation, Pulumi)
  • Prior work packaging solutions for public cloud marketplaces or partner portals
  • Knowledge of GitOps tools (e.g., Argo CD)
  • AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional)
